SMP Tips and Alerts
The federal Administration on Aging funds projects (Senior Medicare Patrols) throughout the country to ensure that seniors are empowered to address issues of health care fraud, errors, abuse and other related health care scams. WCAAA staff and volunteers provide education, assistance and advocacy for residents to identify report and prevent Medicare and Medicaid fraud, waste and abuse. You can also visit The Connecticut State Department of Consumer Protection for more information about scam prevention by clicking here.
