The Veteran's Directed Home and Community Based Services Program
The Veteran's Directed Care program is to help maximize independence by providing help with home based care and supplies that are not currently available through the VA. The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Support Broker will provide monthly support with care plan and the fiduciary agent will assist with payroll needs. The program is designated to provide flexibility and control to meet your needs by allowing you to hire and manage your own staff.
If you are interested in the program, contact your VA case manager at (203)932-5711 or WCAAA at (203) 757-5449.
