Biography

Ellen Durstin brings over 15 years of experience as a Clinical Supervisor in the Visiting Nursing industry, along with a strong background in managed care, having held director-level positions at several insurance companies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Niagara University and a master’s in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

With her deep roots in Visiting Nursing, Ellen is dedicated to supporting the senior and disabled populations, aligning closely with WCAAA’s mission. In addition to her service on the WCAAA Board, she is an active member of the community, serving on the boards of the Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Litchfield County, the Auxiliary of Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, and the New Hartford Historical Society. She is also a corporator of Brooker Memorial in Torrington.
