PAC Volunteering Opportunities
Seeking volunteers for the Professional Audit Committee (PAC) at Western CT Area Agency on Aging (WCAAA) to clinically evaluate client records for active consumers under the Connecticut Home Care Program. The purpose of these audits is to glean a non-biased review of documentation, ensuring risk assessment and mitigation, and that client can remain living safely in the community. Volunteers will work in conjunction with the QA Coordinator to meet an annual requirement of chart reviews. Interested volunteers will be able to commit up to 2 hours per month in office reviewing charts. This time is flexible and set by the volunteer.
- Volunteers with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field
- Volunteers must have experience in health care or human services
- Volunteers will adhere to confidentiality requirements and be conflict free from any business partners working with the Connecticut Home Care Program and/or WCAAA
