Senior centers, some of which are Focal Points, exist in most of our 41 towns. Most focal points provide assistance with completing applications for various benefit programs and help to resolve problems. Some offer hot meals funded through WCAAA, fitness and other interesting activities as well as transportation directly or through other agencies.

Senior Centers are community-based agencies that provide social, recreational, educational, fitness and/or social services to older adults in the community to maintain independence and improve the quality of life for older adults. Some centers also offer meals from one to five days per week. Senior Centers can be municipally or privately funded and therefore costs for programs vary.
